Miller moment

Discovery is great, and I want to pass on one I have made . The problem is where does one store the extra torch tips. I have had them in the tray of the welding cart but have always been concerned about damaging the tips as they lay around the welding cart ..... what to do?.... see the pictures, I am not sure if this block was designed for this . But it works very well

Great idea One gripe I have always had was when people carelessly toss around torch tips and then B**** at the torch when it pops and won't stay lit. Those tips have a sealing surface (or two) on the base and if this is scratched or damaged even slightly it will leak and cause a backfire. I think you are talking about MIG tips but the point is that torch or welder these things demand care if they are going to function properly.

Did you ever notice that when droped torch tips seem to always land on the sealing end?

I'll have to look and see if My Lincoln has that. Usually I just leave mine in th ebag and lay them in the lower tray inside the welder.
