It has been along time since I have been on here and it feels good to be back. Ok, here goes, I need you guys help in finding a source for building and supplying whatever parts, bodies, tires, wheels etc, you get the picture, for building a Mini Hot Rod. I need a project for me and my 3 grandkids to work on(and complete before I GO to the big dragstrip in the sky). Don't have enough time for big rods but, need help. I'm not finding what I want (info) anywhere on the net. I have seen them before I know they are out there, Please help me, kids growup fast. A big thank You to all of you that can help. SafetyBill. but "spirit ind" has a mini t-bucket.. i have seen them and really neet.. small honda elect start engine, big and little's, a nice kit... spiritcars.com or spiritind.com.. or just google mini t bucket kit....

Bill look into finding a yard kart style go-kart (not the racing style) complete with motor or a roller then you cut the frame down to the size of body that you need. This works well with full body styles but not so much with a T-bucket styles. With T-bucket styles you usually have to narrow the frame ( sometimes the axles if live axles and the steering but it is doable) and shorten the frame . I have reworked several frames for this over the years and even laided up some fiberglass bodies (won't do that again!!!!) and they turned out great, unfortunately I no longer have any pics of any of them as I lost them in a fire. This can be a great father/ son ,grand paw/ grand kids project. Basically really only special tools needed are a saws all and a welder.
