mini tubs
I run mini tubs on '64 Chevy II to get the most wheel I can. I did inboard my spring perches (typical for Chevy II) and I was able to trim all the excess metal coming out from the frame. I still have my back seat which I had to modify slightly. The frame on the back seat was cut in a few places to fit around the tub but you wouldn't know to look at it. I am sure you could do the same with your back seat and save it. Good luck.

There's a guy down the street that's running 325/50/r15 bfg drag radials on his 70 chevelle. They look huge, and he said all he had to do was roll the fender on the outside and a little pounding with a hammer on the inside. I didn't ask him the back spacing on his wheels though, but they were 15x10 ultralites. It looks like it's mini-tubbed.
