Missing in action?

Been gone for a while, but glad to be back. Lost a 20 year career with the company I was with in April, so have been really pre-occupied. After months of searching, 2 months ago I made a decision to open an aftermarket installion/service/parts "hot rod" shop in Vancouver, WA. Hired some key people and we opened this week. I installed an MD 1750 Dyno, bought shop equipment, and we are up and running. We have a start at a web site, and are furiously building a catalog. www.fastspecialties.com

So far have about 300 vendors....so far so good.

Ron

Edited phone number out.

Welcome back. I edited your phone number because your post is very close to advertising and that's not allowed in the forums. You are more than welcome to put an add in the classified section if you wish.

Glad to see you opened your own shop and sure hope it works out.

I have the 65 Fastback Mustang. Runs 9.70's/80's. I did snap the crank at the end of the season last year...so it is in the process of being repaired.

My apologies for posting the phone number. I did not mean to break the forum rules.

red347 -- welcome to the Hotrodders Bulletin Board . The website looks cool. Thanks for observing our advertising policy -- it's brand new, so few people know about it yet.

You can also put the URL to your company in your user profile page. Just click on "my profile" towards the top-right of this page, then click on "Edit Profile", and insert your URL into the "Homepage" field. Then, in your posts, you are more than welcome to say: "Just have a look at my profile to check out my website".

around here, there are shops that have "dyno saturdays". The shop opens saturday for DYNO Only, you go to the shop pay anywhere from 100$-500$ to run your car on the dyno and see "what you got" Good source of revenue may be local car clubs looking for braggin rights, another shop around here cycles through makes like Porche day, Civic day etc... you gotta sign a relase just in case you blow your engine though...

Good Luck!!!

As a start up, we will do Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, you schedule it and we will be there. We are having some open houses, car club shows, anything to get the thing launched.

And here I thought these were suppose to be the "golded years"..instead it's 14 hour days.
