Yeah, I called Cook a couple of months and he seemed ok but very quite and non-conversational. Sure hope nothings wrong.

Em - it's the same no matter what forum I use. A lot of the 'oldies' go elsewhere, change their hobbies, run out of time, get PO'd, etc. Here there seems to be about a 90% new batch of people with the new owners - and some aren't quite as easy going as the 'originals'. You and I 'converse' on more then one site and they have also seen participation dwindle. Not many nowadays are going to have several thousand posts - I'm at way more then I thought possible when I joined.

I miss "Topwrench" and a few others I tried to call him months ago and left a message we were coming down around Christmas but with no return call. We went down to Alabama and thought I would drop in and called again with no answer left a message with no return call from him it was around Christmas through New Year! He and his family lives on the Pan Handle Of Florida and Alabama and they had some really bad storms! I always wonder if something happened? If I died today none of you would ever know unless my family posts something on here LOL I doubt they wouldLOL!

It does make you wonder especially about older members when they don't come back or say anything!!

Jester

And Rob Keller

Mikey always made me laugh when he mentioned the "Taco Lady"

And of course----"Doc" cracked me up as well.
He passed shortly after my dad did.

For tech, TI and ericnova72 come to mind. lt1silverhawk was a very congenial guy, level-headed and an asset in his own right- he did a decent Q-jet article for the wiki for example. Always respected the way cole represented. Last time he and I 'spoke' he was tied up, time-wise. There are many others. I'm relatively new, so not really in a position to say much more.

You betcha, I can't believe I forgot about Mo (silverhawk) - - he's just plain 100% gentleman and it was pure pleasure to have him around here.

I figured somebody would think of me on my birthday lol! Sorry, but I have been in rehab for my Facebook addiction

Thank you guys, those words mean alot. You all have been great friends and even greater teachers for me these past few years and I will be forever grateful for it.

I haven't disappeared. I just haven't had the time to work on my truck, which is what usually brings me here, along with the great company of course. But as another member mentioned, things change. The truck has been more of a hobby and learning vehicle for me so other things take more priority. I still check in here from time to time to see whats happening in the Lounge and of course keep track of any trouble Randy, EM and the Bobs may be getting into lol!

Anywhoo, I plan to be back on here as soon as time allows to put more work into my poor truck (123pugsy would undoutedly agree ) and hopefully hang out some more in the Lounge.

Thank you again for the kind words, easily the best birthday present today. bar none. Hope you both and other members are doing well.

EDIT: Another vote for Cole. The nicest guy and took the time to welcome everyone. Hopefully he'll check-in soon.
