missing part
Can anyone tell me if I am missing a part from this picture, this is how it was taken apart

Yes you are missing a phenolic disc check valve, Looks like a brown dime. It goes on the end of the spring opposite to the washer/retainer. Closes off the hole/seat in the bypass.
By the way, these are not meant to be disassembled and re-used. Get a new one!!
