mixes marine gas and regular pump gas

I am wondering about mixing gases. Is there a difference between marine gas and regular pump gas. If the two are mixed will there be any consequences?

Mix all you want, they are compatable. No advantage to it however, the marine just costs you more for the "privilege" of buying it at the Marina.

Marina actually pays less for gas as the "road" taxes are not on it..

Marine gas typically (at least it does here on the Chesapeake Bay of VA)has little or no ethanol because boats typically sit more than they are run. The alcohol plays havoc when the gas sits very long.....(gathers water so bad)
