mixes marine gas and regular pump gas

I am wondering about mixing gases. Is there a difference between marine gas and regular pump gas. If the two are mixed will there be any consequences?

I'm pretty sure they're the same. Even if there are slight differences it won't harm anything.

There are 2 types of marine gas sold at marinas. Premix which contains oil for 2 stroke engines (no crankcase) and regular gas for 4 cycle engines which get their lubrication from crankcase oil. I don't see any reason to mix either one with regular gas station gas.
