I have a friend that runs a small bodyshop and loves that Gen-Tech clear.

Well Mr. Jclark, it is made by Transtar Co.You can not find anything out about it on their website for some reason.I did not like this. I think every paint manufacture should be forthcoming with the products they sell. It mixes 4:1:1 and retails for around 75 bucks out the door. Very cheap and the mix ratio makes me think it is not a long lasting clear. I took camera to store and took photo for forum. The owner tried to sell me something else when I said I thought it would be a bad clear, called Pro Spray. It was made by Mortons who I thought was a cheap company like Marhyde. I am going to stick with what has worked before and order from Mr Barry's wharehouse. No need in having problems

Well I was hoping you'd use it and give a full report.
I tried to talk Bondoqueen into using it a long time ago
but he chickened out, Guess we'll have to wait for someone
more daring than us.
Like I said, I know one person that loves it, so it can't
be too bad.
(You can't go wrong with Southern Poly though.)

P.S. Where's that "paint tech instructer" when you need him ???!!!
