also. since i am going to do the underside of the hood first. it has a lot of areas where i need to get under the cross brasing. so i was going to shoot through the holes and around the brasing first. then a final even coat. is there a rule of how long i should wait for the first shoot to dry, before the final top coat ? then how long for it to dry before i can flip the hood over and do the top side ?
i would do both sides at the same time. but i want to practice on the underside. and i don't know how well that will turn out. thanx |

well, you gotta try to find the tech sheet with the right directions how to mix the paint.
i would agree doing the bottom of the hood is a better idea to do first...and once again, id check the tech sheet for your paint because it will have the correct flash times....you could always just wait a real long time and could be pretty sure it was dried fully....but id find the tech sheet either way. |

mix
I beleive its 4:1:1,all tho im not 100% and I would give each coat at least 15 min. to flash
