MLB Post Season

Who are you guys going for, who do you think will be in the world series?

I am going for the Dodgers for NL and the Tigers for the AL. However, I think the World Series is going to be Boston vs LA.
LA has the pitching but Boston has the hitting.

Who are you guys going for?

I'm from St. Louis - so I'm a bit prejudiced towards the Redbirds!

They have a great team and I a fan of Adam Wainwright. I am originally a New Yorker so I am a Yankees fan but my late Grandfather grew up in 1940's Brooklyn so he was a Dodgers. I've had the MLB app for the last 3 seasons and have had the pleasure of getting the watch the Dodgers and listen to Vin Scully.
So I am going for the Dodgers.

The NLCS between the two teams should be a great one.

GOOOOO A's! I'm a big Giants fan, but with them not in it (they are STILL The World Series Champions by the way) it's the A's for me, I have rooted for both of them.

Tonight's the night, game 5! I am torn on this game too, my cousin in Detroit saw the Giants kick their butt last year, he wouldn't even talk about it. LOL Now here's the A's ready to eliminate them, we will see. I know that you couldn't right a better script than the rookie, Sonny Gray, with 10 major league games under his belt going against Justin Verlander with almost 300! They met at game two of the series and produced one of the best pitching duels of the year. This should be a good one!

All I can do is hope the Dodgers get their butt kicked but to see the A's and Dodgers in a World Series and the A's wipe the floor with them would be second only to the Giants winning again....but that's next year, they only win on even years so 2014 is it!

This is gonna be good, hopefully it's a long and exciting series. That will make the Dodgers victory so much better!

They didn't finish in last place, it's hard to believe but there were worse teams out there this season.

A couple of games ahead of Colorado but they still sucked. They lost all of their hitting (minus Posey) and their pitching completely fell apart.

Yea Martin my Atlanta Braves,,,spent the whole season doing great,,,and then,,,,and then,,,they imploded,,OR,,,how you say?,,,they choked,,I've never been so PO'd and frustrated,,as when I was during the post season.Everybody down here just couldn't believe it,,OH AND,,I don't know if you heard the story about Chipper throwing out the first ball,,but apparently he had been watching his guys make some really vicious mistakes and made the prediction that LA would take those games in 4,,and he ended up throwing the pitch too the mascot because nobody would catch for him,,not even Freddy Gonzalez which is piss poor sportsmanship,,anyway,,believe me,,I know how you're feeling, because I've always backed the Giants if the Braves didn't make it to the playoffs,,i don't know what happened this year,,but I hope there isn't a repeat next season.

I gotta admit I was getting a little nervous during game 4 but Uribe and Puig came through!

When I was a Young kid in the 90's I hated the Braves because of the short lived World Series rivalry the Yankees-Braves had. I gotta admit though Greg Maddux is one of my all time favorite players, one of the reasons I pitched growing up. (I have his rookie card right here on my desk...His cubs days). I also respect Tom Glavine, Smotlz, Chipper and Andruw. They had a great team in 96 & 99 just not Yankees great.

Being a Tiger fan, I'd like to see Detroit-St. Louis. We owe them one.

I can't believe Puig is 0-10 in this series. He stuck out 4 times today! It's like what Vin Scully said he looks confused at the plate not wild like he did during the regular season.

Go Tigers, up 1-0 on the Red Sox. Hell of a game pitched by Detroit, only one Red Sox hit, Detroit wins 1-0 on 9 hits.
