mod motor , pushrod question

basically ive been thinking lately , because i have a 427 mark IV tall deck , brand new block layin around ,and managed to gather some parts here and there , ive heard good and bad on the tall decks , is it worth to build?? and secondly the reason i titled it mod motor is because ive seen mustangs at decent prices and am considering sellin the bbc and buying a mustang BUT how are the mod motors? am i going to be able to make power with them? or am i better off keeping patient and building the bbc?

im considering it simply because all i have is a bbc BLOCK , no car (yet) to put it in . and for the cost it doesnt seem to bad to go with a mustang wit a 4.6l , but i dont wanna regret it if the bbc is worth the wait and build

btw im 23 and just eager to have a toy car to tinker with that doesnt hurt the bank TOO much lol,

The advantage of the tall block is first they're heavy duty parts meant to pull hard and long so they've got some beef in 'em. Second they have plenty of space in which to play with long rods and certainly long strokes.

Good toy to have, hang on to it till the right stuff comes your way.
