Model A body mounts

Does anyone know of a suitable substitute for the wooden blocks used to mount Model A bodies to the chassis? I have an Original Steel Model A body that I need to mount to a TCI chassis as a full fendered rod. I would like to use some more modern product as the substitute for the wooden blocks.

First as a 30 Briggs four door, destroyed in a 2002 fire, than as a 29 Tudor on the exact same after-market chassis, I have had no problem using Snyder's Model A wooden mounting blocks to secure the two bodies to the same boxed frame. And this is in a street-strip combination that, so far, has run a best of 11.23 @ 118 mph in the quarter. Also, this is measured over the course of the 30 years I have built, driven, raced, and enjoyed these Model A's on that same frame. As for possible replacements for wood, I suggest contacting Speedway Automotive out of Nebraska, which has been in the speed parts business long enough to maybe have developed, or know of, a wood alternative. Meanwhile, I have no problem recommending the oak pieces from Snyder's. Lastly, I also suggest contacting Oregon's own Wescott's out of Boring which has a vast inventory and deep expertise on all things Model A's.
