Speedway time

Speedway motors has a couple pages of steering components in the catalog. , It depends on what the end of the column has ? 3/4 round or 3/4 double D, double D is the most common, and check the vegs size and spline count . Mine was 5/8 36 spline , then select the U joint or coupler with the size you need Speedway sells new shaft material. Measure 3 times cut once. fit everything together, the allen screws will make a mark. take it apart and drill a small drill point recess for better locking of the allen . after it was together and a test drive I tig welded some of the connections that only used an allen screw. lock tight or nylock nuts on the thru bolt connections.
