Modern mirrors - Old Car - What should i use?

I have a 69 Lincoln Mark III that only came with a drivers mirror. Its in pretty bad shape. Rather than just replace it/repair it i decided i want to use modern mirrors. Main reason is i would like something bigger so i can see better. Its a chore to get on the highway (for example) right now.

This is a pic of a mark iii to give you an idea of the mirrors it has. http://www.affordableclassicsinc.com...%20%283%29.JPG Mirror mount is inline with the stainless trim so i would like something that could be modified to span the stainless... covering the "hole" created when i remove the old mirror.

I dont mind if they are manual. Actually prefer it to avoid additional work. Is there a place to find aftermarket mirrors? Or should i be looking at junk yards for newer model lincoln mirrors?

Thanks.

Take a walk at the your local pull a part type wrecking yard& look at mirrors on every car you see on the street, That is how I do it.
