modulator valve?

I have a turbo 350 automatic in a 1969 camaro and I think modulator valve is messed up how would I go about fixing that?

First, since you didn't post what the problem is with the modulator, check to see that the vacuum line going to it is connected and in good condition.

Second would be to replace it. They are very reasonably priced and available at any auto parts store.

Go buy a new one, crawl under the car with a wrench (1/2" I believe) and loosen the bolt, remove the bolt and strap, unplug vac hose, pull out the old modulator and slide in the new one, replace strap and bolt and hook up vac line. All done. Takes about 5 minutes.
