Most of your street limited slip 'posi' differentials use clutch packs to tranfer power to both rear tires. This is what you want for most street applications. For racing you could use a spool or locker style diff. but I wouldn't reccomend them for a street car. There are companies that make heavier duty differentials with extra friction discs and stronger spring plates for street use.
