How much life is left in my Monte?
I have a Mobil 1 car with 236,000 miles on it and does not use any oil or puff at start up, though the mains are starting to sound a little loose on cold start up. Very good oil pressure. Auto trans shifts like new (M1 ATF), wheel bearings, differential, etc. That is all I have used for the last 20 years in everything. period.
How would we know if you want a new truck more than you want a Monte????? LOL....... You might end up like us old geezers.... 10-20 years later wishing we still had that great muscle car we traded for something "new".
Of course, I am a firm believer that if you can't afford to pay cash for that truck, don't buy it. If you can pay cash, don't buy it. Buy something used and decent and save your money for something really important, like retiring at 55 years old.
