My cutlass died a few weeks a go and I just recently picked up a 1987 chevy caprice classic brougham sedan. I was wondering if the front nose clip from a monte ss would fit onto my caprice.
I saw this done to an el camino on "trucks" on tnn a while back. It added a much more agressive look to the car. The el camino seemed to have the same nose I have now.

Dose anyone know if this would work?

Size wise a Cutlass and a Caprice are completly different body styles. A Caprice is more like a Delta 88 and a Cutlass is more like a Monte Carlo.

I know the body sizes are different but does anyone know if the noses are the same relative size?

Sounds to me that they are the same, but different. One is larger than the other.

so the old switcharoo,i know for a fact that it wont fit!!!
the job i did on my car was very similar.83 lemans cloned to a 78.
the front wont fit because the frame of a full size car is larger than the frame
of the mid size catygory like,you can mix,cutlass,monte.c,regal,from 80 to 83
2 doors only.like my car is a 4 door,i could not put the fenders of a 2 door
the opening for the wheel is not at the same distance.here is a small list,
full size:parisienne wagon or sedan,cutlass brougham,buick electra wagon,
caprice2 or4 door,impala,ect..
mid size:cutlass supreme,monte.c&ss,regal,grand prix,lemans,grand lemans,
t-types,buick gnx,hurst olds 442,catch my drift
