Make sure you remove the trim out of the ttop area and check it out, They love to rust right there.

I have all the glass out including the rear quarter windows. There is very little rust on the car it has been garage kept its whole life wich its lucky cuz its a t-top car.
So far we have the nose completely off fenders, hood, and rad support. The fenders went to the body shop to get some tweaking and get ready for primer. i got them in a high build surfacer blocked them and sealed them inside and out. Then sprayed color and clear on the inside of them. also got the 4 inch fiberglass cowl hood in primer and color and clear inside. As for the doors they are off now to and are going to the body shop monday for some fine tuning then they will get the same treatment. we also have the trunk lid off and in primer. the inside of that is in color/clear as well and got the trunk latch and power popper painted. trying to load some pics. |

Just noticing the compressor is in the same room your spraying in, a word of caution would be they can cast oil into the air especially when they get hot and have caused fisheye problems kinda like on the camera lens in this image,,,

yea I know but don't have anywhere else to put it so far no problems. I did mount a air water separator on the wall that should help out allot. I repainted and cleared inside of the passengers side fender. it looks beautiful I cant wait to get a pic of it up.

Excellent excellent, looking good..if you can see the breather vent some models will let you put a hose to the outside or sponge to catch any airborne oil molecules.. It might be ok too , mostly wanting you to have the best of chances
