Moon Disc

After making a set of carbon fiber moon disc and in the middle of ghost flaming them I got this idea of cutting the flames out and putting the original disc behind for a two tone look. Here is a pic of the flames ready to cut.

I used to work at a college that taught aircraft panel repair. They would lay up carbon fiber parts in class and then throw them in the garbage, so one day I talked then into making parts for my racing friends. The carbon fiber comes on a roll just like fabric you would use for upholstering. It has the resin and hardener already in it. You would lay up how ever many plys you would like and vacuum form it and bake it in an oven. These disc have 10 plys .I used the regular screw on moon disc as a mold.
