Mopar 727 buildups.

Other then shift kits and deep pans, what mods have folks here done to their 727 trannys? I'm thinking in terms of extra clutches, servo mods, sprags, etc.
What have you all done?

Bolt in rear sparg helps these units.

Shift kits form TransGo work well.

Gettin extra frictions in these drums require machine work, it's easier sometimes to find higher count drum to use.

Shift timing is critical in a TF 3 speed for high perf shifts. Sometimes bleed holes are needed in a couple of spots to allow the low band to come off faster to avoid a tie up on the manual 1-2 shift.

Same applies on the 2-3 shift
