Red face moral dilemma.....

i know it's not the position of this board to openly, enthusiastically, or otherwise support or condone street racing, or other illegal street activity.
so what's up with selling photo radar license plate concealers?

link on the home page; http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com...86959356855737

wth does that link go? doesn't work for me. hth am i supposed to get me one so i can break the law?

the addy in the ad is www.phantomplate.com

and yes i realize that ad's mean money, but at what price and what message?

I'm with you. Now these idiots can also run red lights and not get a ticket ( and hopefully not kill anyone). The manufacturer should be ashamed. Lets hope one of their family members is never killed b/c of someone using their products.

BTW I don't want to get into a moral argument. Speeding kills as does running red lights. Yes many people do it but that does not make it ok.

That said, there is a difference between driving 120KMH on the trans Canada and driving 120KMH down main street A kid in a Prelude was clocked at 178KMH on my block. No brains.

Don't wash your car. Keep the plate good and muddy.

that would be great in houston, where everyone on the freeway is doing 80-90 mph,in a 65 - 70 mph zone, and they use the photo radar. but whats the difference between breaking one law or another? don't street race, but it's ok to do this.???
hypocracy at its finest.

and i think you all know by now, i don't give a rat'sass about the Man. screw him.

don't rip off software, but it's ok to speed with this stuff on your plate......

An accident waiting to happen

These people who blow reds or go late on yellow lights are an accident waiting to happen. Around here they don't have the cameras to catch them yet. I learned my lesson about street racing with out hurting anyone. I had and example by way of a High School friend who killed his best friend....that was enough for me.

I heard on the radio just today that around here, the police are replacing the cameras with new ones that don't use flashes at all so that spray on stuff wont work. But, there are a lot of cameras to replace out there and it'll take them a while.

Personally, I don't go for intentionally running red lights, the intersections are already dangerous enough!

A spray for that? There is a God!

In all seriousness my radar detector picks up the photo radar anyway, but blowing red lights is pointless and hitting passing gear to catch a yellow is unnecessary. I love when someone blows a light I'm stopping for, or passes me at a high speed and we both end up stopped at the same traffic light one or two lights down the road. I usually wave to them so they (hopefully) feel like an even bigger *********.
