Hey, how ya doin! I made a fiberglass kicker panel for an 85 monte carlo, and i was wondering, would sprayin the inside with the splatter paint from auto zone help reduce lousy noice and give me more bass? Thanks!

That "awful" sound is the enclosure vibrating. You have to brace the inside of the box to keep the walls from flexing when the speaker is running. Or you can make the wall thicker by adding more fibreglass. Once you do that you should add some sort batting in the box, like heavy cotton. This will help to keep the sound waves that are reflecting off the inside walls from returning to the speaker and causing a loss of sound quality.
