I am also looking for a 5 speed for my truck. right now i have a 4 speed with the compound low 1st gear. so my highway speed is 60 at about 3000 rpm. I am not quite sure of my rearend gear ratio. I think they are 411's. my dad has a 63 and he has 3.73's. his can go faster on the freeway with less rpm than i can. he also has the same transmision. Oh I am also interested in going to either wyotech or UTI but i am trying to find out wich is better. I like wyotechs campus and facilities. but Uti has the free hotrod U cousre. A rep came to my school from Wyotech and said that UTI's hot rod u is just bolt on performance. I would like to learn about high performance engine building. any help is greatly apreciated. Thanks

buddy as for the wyotech and UTI thing i can help you with that, wyothech is awsome, they are great i know lots of people that went there and came back knowing how to do so much stuff that even i didnt know what he was doing, and ive been woerrking on engines since i was a little 5 year old, i am now 17. wyotech is the sure fire way to go man, i dont like uti very much they are too expencive anyways.

ps i hear there be some good looking hot mommas there that can build fast smallblocks, that would be a plus to going wouldnt it, TAP TAP..

I herad u can take a saganore 3 speed with over-drive, and take a saganore 4 speed put them together, and get 4 speeds with over drive. With that setup you can also free-wheele
