Question more meat

I have a 86 IROC and I would like for it to handle even better, I believe that the more meat you have on the road the better you will handle. My problem is that the widest tire that I can put on my car(front and back)is a p225\50R16. Does anyone have any suggestion to how I could get lets say p225\40r16 or wider on my ride.

everly, go to Yokohama's web site and get one of their free rim and tire guides, they have all kinds of useful info. With the right rims with the right offsets you can get 17x9s up front and 17x11 in the rear easy, with no rubbing.

If you want that brick on wheels to handle better you need more than wider tires. If you want I used to road/rally/Endurance race so depending on what your wanting to do I could come up with a handling package that would get your car to stick to the pavement like silly puddy. If you need more heeeeelp just drop me a line.

The tire rack is good too, they have a nice online tire sizing program.
