The whole idea behind driving a Chrysler turbo Lebaron convertible is a vehicle that will get decent gas milage while having respectable power. Keep in mind that I am not building a show car or a race car. If that was my goal I would be working on another of my many vehicles. Maybe you could tell me what old muscle car I should be driving that will get 30 mpg. I own 4 Chrysler turbo powered cars, the convertible, a Lebaron coupe and two 4-door New Yorkers.
If you are interested the procedure for cam timing on a 2.2 go to
Setting Cam Timing on the 2.2 and 2.5 Liter Engine
For more info on the 2.2 turbo engines go to
The Mopar 2.2 Liter Turbo Engine
There is a little info on this page about putting a neon head on a 2.2 (but not much).
