MOROSO Water Pump DRIVE kit. HElp

Hey there guys, havent been on the board lately...
anyways i got a electric water pump drive kit made by moroso. It works great, only one problem. When i removed my stock water pump puley and added on the moroso "toothed" pulley to match the "toothed" belt and electric motor pulley, i can no longer run my alternator in the same location because the belt that would originally run the ALT and the WATER pump gets in the way of the new water pump setup. The Alternator would have to be moved out of the way or put to the other side of the motor, and i would have to eliminate the power steering pump. Anyone ever done this before and had this problem?? anyone have any suggestions? im stuck

If this is just a drag only car then usually a alternator isn`t used. If it`s a street car, the electric pump won`t keep it cool.

Put the belt and pulley back on it. Unless you're bracket racing, that drive kit is offering you nothing but a lighter wallet.

Think he meant lighter wallet as in after what you`ll have to pay when it overheats and causes damage.

Your going to have to look at some of the aftermarket ALT brackets made by various companies and just figure out one that is going to work. There are a variety so its really up to you.

That electric pump is designed for cooling down the motor between runs. It is not designed for street use. There are electric pumps out there designed for street use. If you decide to use an electric pump. Most guys make a low mounting alternator bracket. You can purchase a mini alternator that comes with brackets to be used with an electric water pump but it isn't cheap.
