I just bought MCO today. Got home tonight ready to experience all of the cool stuff I have been reading about. Pop the disk in, install, restart computer, get back on line, register to play, start to download updates and there it stalled. Currently there are 69.5 MB of updates. I have a dial-up connection. I have to wait 4.1 hours to download them. This SUCKS. I want to play now. Couldn’t they have included the updates on the disk? I understand that it is updated regularly but come on. At least throw a second disk in or something. This is just plain ignorant. Not really hot rod related but kind of a warning to anyone who plans on buying the game. You will not be able to jump on and play right away unless you have a T1 or better connection. HA!!

Barz, welcome to the online racing world, or any other online game. All online games have to download an update every 2 months or so.

I'm sorry but I will not pay a monthly fee for a game. ESPECIALLY one that you have to buy. THEN after they stop hosting servers they better turn the source code over so people can make their OWN servers.
