Motor is finally done - do you like it?

Video of the first run -

http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=524391954301

It's a Dart 363 stoker with over 500hp built to my liking:
- Holly 770
- Edelbrock top of line cam (thumpin' thunder 520 lift)
- Edelbrock Xtreme alum heads (CNCs)
- All forged internals, rods, pistons, etc.
- and more

Can't wait to install it.

I like anything that isn't a small block chevy.

Its going in my '65 Mustang coupe, and I figure with 2,600lbs (with me in it) it should do a 10.5 roughly in the quarter mile. That's enough for me. My motorcycle will do low 10s and its scary enough.

If you go to Edelbrock and look up Ford small block cams, its the Thumpin'n Thunder and the specs are there.

I'm with you on a Ford in a Ford, so this picture might be a tad upsetting to you. Taken at Fred's Fun Run in Tucson, Arizona for T-buckets, but this guy showed up and parked nearby. Nice guy, but a Corvette engine in a pristine '66 Mustang?

Bob
