Motor help!!

i'm using ac delco spark plugs in my boat motor. I have a mercruiser 165 hp. Straight 6 250. The electrode off the number 1 cyc came out during operation. Burned a hole straight through the piston. Do i have a case against ac delco? If i do please how do i go about having this taken care of?
