I think for almost all sbc unless you have some weird bearing clearances 10w-30 works good... Most people need to run a special break in oil with lots of zinc and phosphorus for flat tappet cams but you have a roller setup so I would think you should be ok... It wouldnt hurt to run the break in oil though for the first 100 miles and dump it but it is more expensive.... but on the whole what oil is better than the next... your opening a can of worms there.... I run brad penn high performance oil in my motors..
