Motorized cowel vent?
Does anyone have experience with motorizing the cowel vent. I am building a center console that will turn up from the hump to the dash. I need to be able to reach the lever for the cowel vent on my 36 Ford pickup which would leave a sizable hole in the top of the console. Any ideas and examples? Which motor to buy?
I also replaced the cowel vent gasket with a unit from Dennis. One side of the gasket is flat and the other is curved a bit. I placed the flat side down in the vent and it sits on the bottom in the grove. Does this get glued down? Is this upside down? It leaks when I wash the truck and it rains. I think I am missing something here. |
