Post Mounting a 36 Ford PU on a S-10 Frame

Anyone use a S-10 frame on a 35 or 36 fendered Ford PU?? Do you have to relieve/cut out the inside fenders for the top of the A frame? I've seen 48 to 55 Chevy PU's with S=10 frames but don't remember any Fords with the S=10 frame. I have the 36 body and fenders+running boards+hood with shell but no frame so I'm going to try to use a shortened S-10 frame the previous owner was building. His quitting should send up a red flag but ol hardheaded me is going to give it a shot. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
