Mounting Details - SBC & Edelbrock Throttle Return Spring

I know this is a very simple question...but could someone post (or email) a few pics of their throttle return spring mounting details.

I am running a 350 SBC, Edelbrock 600 carb, Performer EPS intake. I bought a cheap dual spring kit (Mr. Gasket) but not sure I like what I see...I have it mounted to the second last bolt on the intake (drivers side front) but I think this was a waste of money.

Any help would be appreciated.

Been a while since I've paid much attention to those springs under the hood... But I believe they're supposed to be mounted on the TV Detent bracket.

Thanks...I'll have to check that out tonight.

I never thought about mounting it to the rear of the engine. My old setup had the spring mounted to the front.

I'd get it changed over asap before ya bend a new set of springs outta wack.. Wouldn't take but a couple seconds and a pair of plyers.

The carb I have is a Demon and it was a devil to get setup in the throttle cable, TV and return spring area.
Here is an old pic of my engine showing the Q-Jet return springs, Summit part.
Itīs been blown up somewhat.
