I just looked at a project just like yours. The guys had a 37 Olds 4 door sedan that was in super shape and a 37 chevy coupe body. Their project was to build a 37 Olds coupe from the two cars and this was to take place on an 85 Skylark frame. They had already cut the sedan body at the front door rear pillar and at the factory line on the windshield pillar. The Chevy coupe body was then joined and in place. They have just started the body work. The beltlines, door size etc of the Chevy and Olds were the same so when it's completed, you would never know it is a hybrid car. Keep doing some research on different frame lengths. Also, keep beating the weeds for those old Olds sedans to get the front end parts you are looking for. The Olds frame is pristine and available, but do'n have a clue of the dimensions. It would be an easy Mustang II install.

thanks guys i dont have the 38 olds coupe yet i going to get it at the end of july got to goto denver to get it going there for a wedding and my wifes brother is giving me the car how would i go about cutting and welding the frount end on and is there a good year i should get i eather go to a wrecking yard or goto a car action to get the frount end i thank i going to use the 37 chevy frame and add on infrount of the new frount end i put on its only going to be 4 3/4" so i figured in frount of the frount suppention should be fine to add on at i put a 85 chey blazer axles moter and tranny and transfer case in my 1950 willys pu i getting it ready to go through state patroel inspection so it looks funny i had to weld 2 frount fenders together so the tires will be under the fenders and added the frount and rear bumpers off the blazer sence the bumpers are soposed to be to the tdge of the tires too when done with inspection i going to have the frt axel cut down 4 inches each side to fit under the stock frount fenders and put the 6" lift kit back under itthe bumpers can only be so high here so i took it out to pass and then take the bumpers off and redo
