mounting scoop on c/f hood
I bought a car with a carbon fiber hood. They cut a hole in it and mounted a hilbourn style breather on it. I want something that will eat less rain. I maybe able to get by with a 5in cowl induction scoop but playing it safe with a 6in. Iws about to order the harwood 1126 what I noticed it is a bond only hood. I don't know how well fiber glass bonds to carbon fiber. Can anybody recommend a 6 in. (hopefully less than 28in wide) bolt on cowl scoop.

Fiberglass will bond fine with Carbon Fiber, the resin used is the same. The only difference is the fiber, carbon is stronger and lighter and requires fewer layers to reach the same strength as a similar piece made of Fiberglass.
