Mounting Windage Tray

Has anyone gotten away with mounting a Milodon or similiar windage tray using only 4 bolts (3 main cap posts and the oil pump bolt ) as opposed to 6 as it designed to mount with? This is a 4 bolt SBC 350 and I'm using the stock main cap bolts. The block used to have a stock windage tray where only 3 of the cap bolts and oil pump bolt supported it. Would it be a bad idea to not have the front of the new Milodon tray bolted down? The only thing I can think of being a problem is excessive vibration, but the tray seems to be sufficiently stiff the way it is. Has anyone installed a tray this way?

Thanks

Not a good idea. Even with all the bolts I have seen "Nasty" vibration cracks running from all the mounting holes...
