I have not been active in racing for quite some time but back in the day you were allowed 10% setback in gas class and 25% in altered..that was measured from the centerline of the front axle to the #1 plug...Some of the stock chassis will allow a 10% setback with not a lot of work..An el-camino is not one of them..
