Mr. Gasket Oil Breather Cap BAD

I have a Mr. Gasket chrome oil breather cap for the valve cover. The one with the 1/4 inch holes around it's underside perimeter.

The engine has some blowby. When rinsing out the filter in the cap, I noticed that the filter material had completely disentegrated and washed out in tiny particles. Now all I have is an pretty chrome can with holes. No filtering ability.

Made in China.

Actually it was brand new, came from AZ or O'Reilly's, not sure.... and had only one oil change on it.

Most of these shiny accessories (including FORD RACING) are from over-the-pond and of very low quality. You can buy quality parts but you have to shop for them. Mr. Gasket has not been known for quality since the seventies. CAL CUSTOM makes better products...
