MSD causing battery drain

I installed an ignition in my car a few weeks ago and after about two weeks the battery had no charge. I replaced the battery (under warranty) and checked my connections from the MSD and found no shorts or incorrectly hooked up wires. I am now having the same battery problems. Has anyone else experienced this with a MSD? Is it just coincidence that the problem started around the same time as when I installed the MSD? Does the MSD draw so much juice that I need a higher amp alternator (I'm not sure of the amps its a stock GM)?

Are you driving it enough to charge it, is it just setting and draining, or are you only driving at night with everything on? In short, what are your driving habits. Also are all the dome lights, etc. off?

Weekend driver during the day mainly. The car seems to lose charge during the drive.

Hmm.. Start it up and disconnect the positive battery cable... Rev it up a little then turn all your lights and accessories on and rev it a little again... If it dies at any time I'd take the altenator in and get it tested.. If it comes out clean then u may need to go with a higher amp alt.
