MSD E-curve workings/mods

Talked with a tech at msd the other day and asked if they are planning a mopar big block version of their e-curve distributor. He checked and said there was "no discussion of it." Since all their current e-curve distributors are for clockwise rotation and mopar big blocks are counterclockwise, I asked if a couple wires could be switched with one another to make the electronic unit work correctly for a CCW rotating distributor. He said the 2 wires on the magnetic pickup could be switched and it would work...can any electrical whizzes out there confirm/deny this?
There are plenty of fine distributors on the market and I don't know that I would want to take on such a chore of converting a distributor. However I would like to know if its a sound theory? (please, no "its horribly unpractical",etc- its just food for thought )
Richard

A guy I knew in Phoenix adapted an HEI to a 440, and liked it.
So, I guess anything is possible.
