MSD Power Grid VS the 7 or 8AL

I am going to get rid of the MSD 6AL unit in the car now and I'm considering either the newer 7AL version or the PowerGrid system. The power grid looks nice and is by all appearances MSDs new direction.

Nice modules (like launch control, etc).

Click Recommended Items to see the modules.

Has anyone ran this system and if so how do you like it? Any problems or regrets?

Thanks.

Cj

So no one has the Powergrid ignition or heard anything good/bad about it? Any input at all?

Is this MSD's take on the ISIS "Multiplex" system?

I don't think it is. I think it is MSD trying to stay with current technology and offer new products with more features and added programming abilities. It seems to all integrate nicely, programming is expanded and a lot more than the old style, modules easy to add.

It isn't brand new. Been out for a while now. Before dropping the money I was just wondering if anyone had experience with it or knew anything about it (other than the marketing claims).
