We have wired up MSD boxes for a long time with just a fused circuit. With no problems. The main reason to run a relay, is to make it easy on a "switch" that will not carry the load. The only switch used on the MSD is the ignition, which will carry the load.
But in answer to your question, a 30a will carry it. |
