I voted Dodge, but would have preferred a general Mopar voting choice. |

Having owned one of the greatest muscle cars ever - '69 Road Runner - I had to go with Chrysler too. Although, I rode in an AMC Hornet once that scared the living daylights out of me!!! Stuck in my memory to this day and that was 20 years ago.

Chalk one up for the Bowtie gang
Good point "rodder".
I'm definately no Mustang fan but Ford did make some cool muscle cars. So did Mopar but nothing compared to the Mighty Bowtie cars. I also consider all the other GM companies as Chevrolet, ie. Pontiac, Buick etc... Just think of all the Chev muscle. -Corvette didn't start off so muscular, but it sure ended up being a top muscle car. -Chevelle all years were Quick, but the king of all Muscle cars the LS6 Chevelle And there are soooo many more, out of their stables. Not only a good line up of muscle but in my opinion, the best looking cars of that era bar none. I don't want any arguements, I've heard it before. This is my opinion. bonuts |

All manufacturs at one time or another made a pretty cool muscle car. The Goat was indeed the one that started this nonsense. I am strickly a MoPar guy, but I do respect a lot of the Fords & Chevy's that have hit the street from Detroit.
Corvett's can't be considered true muscle!! Hell, they won't even rust. Now you take my MoPar's - rusting is not a problem. You can sit in your garage and watch it happen. I thought that was one of the requirements of true muscle. Seriously, I like all muscle and there are plenty of different ones out there - even the mighty Vette's. 'cudabob |

To tell you the truth, I voted pontiac because of my GTO. But, come on guys...what about Buick!?!?!? GSX-cool!; GN-awsome!; GNX-super!...I know these last two came some 15 years after most of the bunch, but you can not discount the power of the turbo six!!! I mean honestly, in their day, the GNs were between 1 and 2 seconds quicker in the quarter than the vettes of the same year! but, they had a back seat!!!!!
Also, IMO, the Mustang/Baracuda/Camaro/Firebirds are pony cars. Corvettes are sports cars. But, the big block Vettes and the monsterous Yenko Camaros and the Shelby Mustangs and those monsters such as this break the muscle car/pony(sports) barrier. |

Forgot about Dre? I mean, Vette.
Oops. Vette completely slipped my mind as being around a while. Anyway, If I had a second choice I would say Dodge/Plymouth. When I picked up the Mustang back in Jan, I the guy had a Dodge Superbee in really good shape.
I don't know much more today than I did then about engines other than fords, but when he cranked that thing up I almost handed over the cash. It was just a little to big for my taste. I'm all about stuffing a big motor in a small car.

Gotta go with Chevrolet. How come none of the 409 equipped weren't considered muscle cars? The 57 Black Widow? Dan
