I was gonna suggest you put this one on your IPod but it might cause you to wreck the Cammy. I wrecked my computer chair just watching it - - - so use at your own risk ! It takes her a while but it's worth the wait.

Best guitar solos:

(Not necessarily in order)

Hotel California, eagles

Sweet child o' mine, guns-n-roses

Stairway to heaven, Led Zeppelin

Cliffs of Dover, Eric Johnson

Beat it,, Michael Jackson

Freebird (of course) Lynyrd Skynyrd

These are some of my opinions.

What do you think are some others?

P.s. try to find out what Toto(?) song this is:

My list would be very long with Clapton, Gill, Landreth, Lee, Roth, Burton, Van Halen, Guy and Gatton naming just a few. HOWEVER, my favorite guitar solo song would be this one from the "original Woodstock"
My favorite drum solo is also from '69 Woodstock and Santana.

Since we've had Zappa fever lately, let's talk about lead guitar playing. One of my favorite solos ever.

This is a close second by the guy that drives my guitar playing today. It's a shame he died so young, he had a lot to show the world on guitar.

Chief's on a roll today and he reminded me of one of the premier "freak" guitarist from over Sabine River direction.

Quick story if I may: Back in the late 60's I was in Red Novack's music store downtown Houston and I heard someone in one of the practice rooms wailing on a guitar. I said "Red, that kid can play can't he?" - - Red just laughed and said "yeah, go take a look". So I walked over and peeked thru the glass on the door and it was "Albino Johnny" he just grinned and nodded and kept on ripping those runs off the neck of that six string.
