[QUOTE=tech69;1639201]I think Brothas and sistas are better entertainers and athletes cause they went thru tougher times than the rest of us. Love this song by George Benson

I can't disagree with you about them going thru some hard times but some of "our" ancestors had it a little ruff also and tried to relate that in music and lyrics. Check out some of "The Singing Brakeman" Jimmy Rodgers, who is also called the Father of Country Music and some Woody Guthrie stuff and you'll see where I'm coming from also.

There's several Tex-Mex places around East Texas that has them and they are nice places too, not just joints or dives. Sure cuts down on the amount of plumbing don't it?

Theres an old bar up here with one! it drains out the back wall and into a ditch that leads to a lake right next to a cabin ! LOL! Only the locals here know that LOL ! the people that rent the cabin in the summer don't know!!! But they think the little creek in the back yard is pretty LOL! And kids are always catching frogs in it! AH! Health laws and grandfathered in businesses LOL!!!

'63??? YIKES, has it been that long??? Most folks didn't realize it back then but there was a bunch of talent on that stage that later wrote and recorded songs that will "Never" die.

Here's a song that McCartney wrote and John Denver (one of my all time favorite artists) put it on his Rocky Mountain High Album.

Jay and the Americans where one of the best that is for sure. Cara Mia, come on, one of the very best pop songs in history.
