When I'm busy or driving, I'll listen to all kinds of stuff, but tunes that hit the spot for me are usually not mainstream. It doesn't help that I have so much stuff to choose from. Always changing discs 'til I find the one that 'hits the spot'.

Some tunes that can be heard where I'm working....

Melvin Sparks ~ Texas Twister

Gales Brothers ~ Talking In Your Sleep

Joe Bonamassa ~ Pain & Sorrow

........And when I need to chill, I listen to stuff like this...

.....or this.....

J.R.

Your last 2 are banned in the U.S.A. I listen to a lot of European and British groups I was clued in on my many trips to Europe! They just don't play them or sell them here!!!! I hate that!

I just started listening a lot to Joe and he has become my favorite 6 string artist, hands down. A friend of mine is Cousin to Greg Martin of "The Kentucky Headhunters" and he sent me a Video of Greg and Joe jammin' on some blues and it was awesome.

Why on earth do things like this happen?
Probably just about the only thing in this world (apart from car culture) that's supposed to transcend our boundaries and the powers that be say 'no'? Makes you wonder.

I know, it's all about the Benjamins.....

Anyway, if any of you are curious enough to check them out yourselves, the two links are 'Ice' by Camel (album version) & 'Childrens World' by Maceo Parker (again, album version).

?Who Me? hahahaha - - - Camel Ice is Nice (rhyme intended) and since I'm a big instrumental fan, so was Children's World - - - - I guess that any critic would have to be towards Maceo - IMHO, there's too much sax playing pretty much the same notes with different articulation and the B3 should have been allowed to showcase more. All in all nice easy listening and I can't understand why either would be banned from anywhere???????????????

When are Y'all gonna lay down some more stuff and share it with us - - - I miss that !
