[QUOTE=NEW INTERIORS;1641123]This one ALWAYS makes me think about a few things...

Randy, I've always thought that Great Songs have to come from Great Song Writers and that one is no exception. It was written by Wayne Carson (Thompson) who also wrote "The Letter" that was a hit for Joe C o c ker and The Box Tops back in the late 60s and "Neon Rainbow" for Alan Jackson.

Good News JR - - looking forward to it.

That is one of THE best songs ever in my opinion. I could never make up some top ten songs but if I were to try I would be hard pressed not to have that in it. I saw Willie at a little theater around 1985. I have seen a lot of stars in concert, I love music of all kinds, but I don't believe I have ever seen anyone so personable on stage. I remember in the days after the show saying how I felt like he gave me his personal phone number.

I'm surprised no one posted James Taylor. The guy was extremely talented.

"Touche JR

That tune has some bitter sweet memories for me because the first time I heard it was when a dear friend sent it to me. I laughed until I almost chocked. However, "Tottie" (a Scotsman transplanted to New Zealand) has since passed away. I think of him and his joy that he shared a lot and this has brought back some good, yet sad, memories.
