Here is another one of those "stand alone" songs that can't be compared to any other!

This is from a concert, and has tremendous sound. He never did reveal what the song was written about... but who cares!!!!

Funny how a couple of taps on a drum and the crowd knows what it is, no music, no melody, just a couple of taps on the drum.

He has got to have the least amount of hair (other than shaved) of any male pop singer in history!

I am amazed that I can hear a beat, or a couple notes, and know what a song from 25-50 years ago is.... but can't remember where I laid my glasses 2 minutes ago! {:-(

Home Boy !

I was blessed to have been able to watch this Artist grow up and develop from a young high school lad with a garage band to a major Recording Artist and Texas is awfully proud of him.

If you like blues/rock, check out this relatively new guy on the block, Irishman Simon McBride with his version of Hendrix's
.

And on another note, so to speak, another of my favourite bands, this time from Germany, c1979 ~

Ever had one of those songs/videos/lyrics/rhythms that you couldn't figure out why you like them but you just did and have from the very first time you heard it? Well, for me, this is one of those songs.

JR, I am liking that Simon McBride, good music, talented guy.

The Tangerine Dream is good also, reminds me a bit of Pink Floyd.

Another player in a similar vein to McBride is Ryan McGarvey, here with his rendition of Ain't Enough Whisky.

And for SRV fans, here's a player with a similar feel Sonny Moorman with Up To My Neck In The Blues.

I like all three of those pickers but I especially like Simon's tone - - - - some pickers just know how to get the right tone for the right song.
